Reported issue : Engineer / Customer can connect to VR-7000 via Liveplayer & Maintenance viewer, however they are unable to download config files or playback data.
Things to Check :
- Make sure PC Fixed IP is set correct to match device you are trying to connect too
- When connecting to DCU or Long Term Storage Device, Set PC IP to : 172.31.16.201 / 255.255.0.0
- When connecting to Fixed DRU or Float Free DRU, Set PC IP to : 10.0.0.102 / 255.0.0.0
- Disable WiFi
- Disable Windows Firewall
- Disable Antivirus
- Run program as Administrator
- Check Java 8 version is running update 281 or earlier (update 291 has known issues)
- You can get old Java version from Oracle archive site
- Java SE Runtime Environment 8u 281 is best choice
- Do not choose Server edition or Development kit
