How to carry out Tune Initialize
After carrying out a magnetron replacement, it is recommended to carry out the Tune Initialize process.
Please note this only applies to Magnetron Radars.- Set Radar to 12NM
- Set Gain to 70
- Set Sea to 50
- Set Rain to 0
1) Click on [TUNE AUTO] button to change Tune function to [TUNE MAN]
2) Move cursor over Tune bar next to Tune Button. Make sure cursor hovers over tune bar.
- Using scroll wheel on controller, scroll up/down to find the strongest picture.
- Scroll full length on Tune bar both ways to find best picture / strongest returns.
3) Leave Tune bar manually set to the strongest point and click [TUNE MAN] button to change back to [TUNE AUTO]
4) Select MENU > ECHO > TUNE INITIALIZE
- The bottom right information window will say that Tuning is in progress.
- Once complete, the bottom right information window will return to normal.
5) Please then adjust GAIN / SEA back to "normal" levels and carry out a full system test.
