GP-39 GPS Device - No Time or Date
[Reported Issue]
Some GP-39 units are not displaying Time & Date information.
The GPS device will provide Position, SOG & COG, however the Time & Date values show “-- / -- / -- --:--:--”
[Solution / Information]
This issue is caused by an incorrect reference date for “GPS Rollover”.
To resolve this issue you will need to change the setting value from [2015] to [2034].
MENU -> GPS Setup -> Roll Over
If you change the [Roll Over] setting, a warning message will appear. In such case, click [Yes].
The system will automatically restart and displays the correct date after normal start-up.
